Program Description: Are you looking for a fun and educational summer camp for your child? Our art camp is the perfect choice! Campers will have the opportunity to learn about famous artists such as Jackson Pollock, Yayoi Kusama, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, and Henri Matisse and their unique techniques. We will focus on a different artist and explore their art style daily.
Your child will have the chance to create their own masterpieces inspired by these great artists. Through this camp, they will develop their imagination and enhance their artistic skills. Please note that the list of artists is subject to change.
Equipment: Clothing to get a little messy in and a water bottle. Snacks will be provided.
Instructor: Kristen Callaghan has taught PK-2nd grade Art at Ravenscroft since 2019! She received her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from High Point University. She enjoys creating, getting messy, and experimenting. Kristen Callaghan has been teaching art to students in PK-2nd grade at Ravenscroft since 2019. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from High Point University. Mrs. Callaghan loves to create art, get messy, and experiment with different techniques. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her puppy, Willow, playing video games with her husband, and traveling
