Jason Meggs

Jason Meggs

Jason Meggs currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of TriNetX, a global network of healthcare organizations and life sciences companies driving real-world research to accelerate the development of new therapies. Prior to joining TriNetX in 2023, he served as the CFO of Syneos Health from 2018 to 2023. Syneos is a leading contract research organization and contract commercial organization with over $5B of revenues and 30,000 employees. During his tenure, Meggs and team demonstrated an ability to develop and deploy value-creation plans delivering industry-leading shareholder returns while managing a complex capital structure including managing and raising multibillion-dollar term debt and bonds. 

Meggs has led global finance and accounting teams including financial planning and analysis, operational finance, procurement, tax, treasury, internal audit, investor relations and corporate development as well as corporate strategy, information technology and global deal management, including being a member of key customer strategic-account management teams. 

Meggs holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western Carolina University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina. He started his career as a financial auditor with Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. Before joining Syneos (formerly INC research) in 2014 as Senior Vice President of Finance, he spent nine years with Quintiles Transnational in various roles of increasing responsibility, with his last role as Global Vice President of Internal Audit.

Meggs currently serves on the Board of Directors of BOA Nutrition and previously served as treasurer of the Association of CROs (ACRO) and as a board member of Vystar Corporation. 

Meggs and his wife, Bridget, have one daughter, Emery ’32. He enjoys spending time with his family, spending time at the beach, running, fishing and playing any sport. The Meggs family is enthusiastic about their support and involvement with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, including raising money and participating in the annual St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital marathon weekend.
